week 4 wednesday run
Great Wednesday run ! Thank you so much Heather and Kim S for training with us and the chat ! Great run Corona and Anne. I struggled more tonight than any other night on my breathing, but I think it was one of the most humid runs so far for me. Tricia I am so sorry to hear of your injury. We surely do miss you and wish you a speedy recovery. See you all on Friday. I am so looking forward to my first run on Sunday. I am a little bit nervous but we have some awesome Go the Distance trainers and I am confident we all will do great !!

Great Job everyone for your Wednesday run! I'm very impressed on how well everyone did last night on their run. Everyone is ready for the run on Sunday. The run we did last night was longer than the 5K that you will be doing Sunday and the course last night is more challenging than the race on Sunday. I'm confident that each of you is going to be very happy with your results. Joe W. – the team did the same course as Saturday’s run; they chose to go up your “little” hill. Ann and Kim - you two are great, just remember that running in hot humid weather is different than running in cooler weather, we all have are good and not so good running days. Take it one day at a time and learn what you need to do in the different weather conditions. Joe - you were wonderful! We are all very proud of you. I am amazed that you ran the whole course last night. Thanks Heather for coming last night to help us out. It worked out well last night, you took the front of the group and I took the back. Thanks for everyone else who ran with us last night as well. It's nice to have each of you come and train with us; it makes it a lot of fun and we like to see you improve every week. Each of you is doing a great job as well. See everyone same place same time on Friday for a 2 mile run.
Thanks to the "gang" for letting me join you on your run last night; then showing me up! Just kidding. It was the motivation I needed to push myself farther than I have been while running alone. Your abilities amazed me and I realize it is the consistency that I need. Thank you for nagging me nicely, Kim...it helps to have you and Debbie both "challenging" me to do it. Joe, I look forward to witnessing your "makeover" and the day you start lapping everyone on the course!
Message to KIM: How many miles are you planning for Friday night, the 16th? Did I see that you mentioned ONLY 2? Blog in the early AM since Carol and I are running in the morning, and Heaven Forbid, we should run twice as far as the rest of you guys !!
Happy to see everyone doing so well...So very sorry and disappointed we won't be able to share your first race with you on Sun(we'll be out of town)...Good luck to all on your FIRST RACE...See you all on Mon night...
