Hello Everyone! I am so sorry that I have not really been in contact or come down to see you. I am sure Kim W will agree with me when I say this, to be there is like salt in the wound knowing you can run. My heart and soul was truly into this and it was going so well then what disappointment. Our team is so awesome.
The Dr. originally said that they thought that I just had arthritis and bursitis but I had to go to the Dr. again the other day because I developed a bump below my knee cap and pain behind my knee. Now they are thinking I have torn my meniscus. My family and I went for a walk the other night and we went down a hill and up a hill and I was in so much pain, so the Dr. said now I can only walk on flat ground.
I am so proud of each and everyone of you, I was there beside you and I know it isn't easy but it is an awesome accomplishment. I truly wish that I could be there with you running right next to you.
Thank you everyone for being so caring and I will keep you in the loop. I go see the Orthopedic Dr. next week and then before the insurance company will pay for an MRI I have to go through Physical Therapy.

Tricia ~ It's nice to hear from you!! We sure do miss you running with us. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. We need you to take care of yourself and get better. I know it must be really hard to be on the sideline, knowing that you gave it your all and you were determined that you could do this program. We are here for you even though you can't run at this time. Please keep us updated and we would love to see you on Monday nights!! Everyone is asking about you. Kim W. hope to see you running soon with us!! We miss you as well, Anne sure does miss her running buddy
Tricia ! Hey listen I totally know where you are coming from ! But our team is awesome, they are so suportive and caring. It is extremely hard to sit and watch them all run and bond. I wouldnt want to be anywhere else but right there with them, even if its for the high fives, hugs, and encouragement after the run. And believe me after running on the last hot runs it was great to be there with Sue W. handing out ice cold water ! Injuries totally stink, but recovery is only time away. The new friendships and experience is something we carry for a lifetime.
